Getting Started
What is EduPrep?
EduPrep is an AI-powered exam preparation platform for K-12 students, designed for parents. It uses three AI agents — Resource Curator, Quiz Generator, and Readiness Tracker — to automate finding study materials, creating practice quizzes, and tracking your child's readiness before exams.
Who is EduPrep for?
EduPrep is designed for parents of K-12 students (kindergarten through 12th grade) in the United States. Parents set it up and manage exam schedules, while children receive study links and quizzes automatically via email.
How do I sign up?
Click "Sign in" and authenticate with your Google account. That's it — your workspace is automatically created and you can start adding students and exams right away.
What do I need to get started?
Just a Google account to sign in. Then add your children (name, grade, subjects, school district), enter upcoming exams, and EduPrep starts working automatically. No technical skills required.
Students & Exams
Can I add multiple children?
Yes! You can add as many children as you like to a single EduPrep account. Each child gets their own grade level, subjects, exam calendar, quiz history, and readiness scores.
What information do I need for each student?
Name, email address, grade level, subjects, and school district. You can also add your district's curriculum portal link so EduPrep can align study materials to the exact curriculum your child follows.
How do I add exams?
Go to the Exam Calendar and click "Add Exam." Enter the exam date, subject, specific topics to study, and which student it's for. EduPrep will automatically schedule study materials and quizzes in the days before the test.
How far in advance does EduPrep start sending study materials?
By default, EduPrep sends study links 3 days before an exam and a practice quiz 2 days before. You can customize this timing in Settings.
AI Agents
What does the Resource Curator do?
The Resource Curator searches YouTube, BrainPOP, IXL, Quizlet, and other educational platforms for study materials aligned to your child's grade, subject, and district curriculum. It emails curated study links directly to your child before each exam.
What does the Quiz Generator do?
The Quiz Generator creates AI-generated, curriculum-aligned practice quizzes with 20 multiple choice questions. Each quiz is delivered via a unique link — your child just clicks it to start, with no login or account needed. Quizzes support adaptive difficulty.
What does the Readiness Tracker do?
The Readiness Tracker scores quiz results instantly, calculates per-student readiness percentages, and sends you email alerts like "Alex scored 85% on Fractions. He's ready for Thursday!" It also identifies weak topics that need more practice.
Quizzes
Does my child need an account to take quizzes?
No. Quizzes are accessed via a unique link sent to your child's email. They just click the link, answer the questions, and submit. No login, no account, no app required.
What types of questions are on the quizzes?
Quizzes are multiple choice with 8-10 questions per quiz. Questions are AI-generated and aligned to your child's grade level, subject, and the specific topics of their upcoming exam.
How does adaptive difficulty work?
Quizzes support three difficulty levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. When your child scores above the advancement threshold (default 90%), the next quiz automatically increases in difficulty. This keeps them challenged without overwhelming them.
Can my child see the correct answers after a quiz?
Yes. After submitting a quiz, students can view an answer key with the correct answers and explanations for each question.
PSAT/SAT/Spelling Bee/STAR Prep
Does EduPrep help with standardized tests?
Yes. EduPrep offers structured PSAT, SAT, Spelling Bee, and STAR prep plans with alternating math and reading/writing sections, adaptive difficulty, streak tracking, and configurable quiz cadence.
How is SAT prep different from regular exam prep?
SAT prep plans run on a continuous schedule (daily or every other day) rather than being tied to a single exam date. They alternate between math and reading/writing sections and use a structured advancement system with streak tracking.
Notifications & Delivery
How are study materials delivered to my child?
Study links and quiz links are sent directly to your child's email address. The emails are simple and kid-friendly — just a message like "Hey Alex, here are some resources for your math test on Thursday!" with clickable links.
How do I receive readiness alerts?
Parents receive readiness alerts via email. After your child completes a quiz, you'll get an email with their score and whether they're ready for the upcoming exam. You can also check the dashboard anytime.
Privacy & Safety
Is my child's data safe?
Yes. EduPrep is designed with child safety in mind. Student quiz links require no login or account creation. Your data is encrypted and stored securely on Google Cloud. We never share student data with third parties.
What data does EduPrep collect about my child?
Only what you provide: name, email, grade, subjects, and quiz results. Quiz links are accessed via unique tokens — no tracking cookies, no accounts, no personal data collection from children.
Can anyone access my child's quizzes?
Quiz links use unique, non-guessable tokens. Only the person with the link can access the quiz. Links are sent only to the student's email address that you configure.
Billing
How does the free trial work?
Your first 15 days are completely free with full access to all features — unlimited students, exams, quizzes, study resources, and readiness tracking. No credit card is required to start.
How much does EduPrep cost?
After the 15-day free trial, EduPrep costs $9.99/month. This includes unlimited students, unlimited exams, unlimited AI-generated quizzes, curated study resources, and readiness tracking for all your children.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel your subscription from the Settings page at any time. Your data is preserved if you decide to reactivate later.
Curriculum & School Districts
Does EduPrep support my school district's curriculum?
EduPrep supports US school districts. During student setup, you can enter your district (e.g., "Katy ISD") and even add your district's curriculum portal link. This helps the AI agents find study materials that match exactly what your child is learning in school.
What subjects are supported?
EduPrep supports all standard K-12 subjects including Math, Science, English/Language Arts, Social Studies, and more. You configure subjects per student during setup.
What grade levels are supported?
All K-12 grade levels — from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Study materials and quiz questions are automatically tailored to the appropriate grade level.
